1. The Government of Maldives (GoM) is implementing the “Maldives: Learning Advancement and Measurement” Project (LAMP). The Project is funded by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). As a part of the project, the Ministry of Education intends to apply part of the proceeds toward the contract for the Printing Packaging and Distribution of Reading Materials.
2. The Ministry of Education of the Maldives now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders to deliver the Reading Materials within 2 months of contract signing.
3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, November 2020 introduced by the Bank under the Procurement Framework (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information by writing to [email protected], and inspect the bidding document before 14:00 of 21^st August 2023 (Monday).
5. The bidding document in English may be downloaded by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and from the Ministry of Education’s website (https://www.moe.gov.mv) free of charge. The document will be sent electronically. The latest information related to the bid will be downloadable and updated on the Ministry’s website (https://www.moe.gov.mv).
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 23^rd August 2023 (Wednesday) 10:00 Maldives Time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 23^rd August 2023 (Wednesday) 10:00 Maldives Time. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as per the bidding documents..
