INVITATION FOR TENDER
HIRING A PARTY TO CARRY OUT CIVIL WORKS AT HULHUMALE’ HOSPITAL ICU AND NICU
State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) is pleased to offer the opportunity to submit proposals for carrying out civil works at Hulhumale’ Hospital ICU and NICU.
1. Project Overview
Civil works at Hulhumale’ Hospital ICU and NICU, including masonry & plastering work, medical grade Floor, wall & ceiling finishes work, lighting work, power work, FFE, joinery, sanitary, OSE, drapery, rug, water supply work, drainage work, mechanical work, data, fire system work, medical gas work, doors & windows work and building façade cladding.
2. The Eligible Tenderers are limited to;
2.1 Parties who have completed at least 1 (one) similar nature project involving interior and civil works of medical facilities (Laboratories, operating theaters (OT), diagnostic center, Central Sterile Service facilities and ICU facilities etc.) of value MVR 1 (one) million and above in the past 5 (five) years.
3. Experience of the proponent will be validated by:
3.1 Reference letter/completion certificates or any documentation in the name of the Companies/Government Entities/Institutions/Commission etc. (any legal or government entity)
3.2 The tenderer shall submit the Project Data Sheet annexed in this tender notice with all the required details.
3.3 To assist in the assessment and eligibility of the bidder, STO may, at STO’s discretion, ask any proponent to submit any documents (including and not limited to some mandatory documents) for clarification and verification.
4. Tendering Process.

Registration and Bid Document: |
Tenderers can register via email to [email protected] along with the documents required to verify the eligibility criteria:
Deadline for Registration is 09th August 2023, 1100hrs. ONLY Eligible Tenderers can register and participate in the tender. A complete set of Bidding Document in English shall be sent via email on, 14th August 2023, only to the parties who have successfully registered under the tender.

Questions and Replies: |
Questions shall be type-written in English, and shall be sent via email, on or before 19th August 2023, 1100hrs, to the address specified below. Replies to questions will be given on the of 20th August 2023, to all those who have successfully registered under this tender

Tender Submission: |
Documents shall be emailed to [email protected] [NOT LATER than 24th August 2023 at 1100:00hrs.] Submissions received after deadline shall be rejected. |
