Project Number: TES/2015/G-03 

1. Republic of the Maldives has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Project 46122 - 003 Preparing Outer Islands for Sustainable Energy Development Project. Part of this Grant will be used for payments under the contract named above.
2. Ministry of Environment and Energy, Republic of Maldives ( the “Employer”), now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Procurement of Design, Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Generator and Grid Infrastructure in Five Pilot islands of Maldives on turnkey basis.
3. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure.
4. A complete set of the Bidding Documents in electronic format may be obtained from Tender Evaluation Section of Ministry of Finance and Treasury, from February 10, 2015 to April 7, 2015 between 0830 hrs and 1430 hrs on all working days, upon payment of a non-refundable registration fee of MVR 1,500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) or USD 100.00 (One Hundred United States Dollars).
5. Pre-bid meetings will be held on March 2, 2015 Monday at 1400 hrs Maldivian time at the Tender Evaluation Section meeting room, Ministry of Finance and Treasury.
6. Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to [email protected] on or before March 9, 2015, Monday at 1400 hours.
7. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount as stated in Bidding Document which shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid.
8. Bids shall be valid for a period of 180 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified below for Bids, on or before 1100 hoursMaldivian time on April 8, 2015, Wednesday at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening.
9. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Finance and Treasury and Treasury and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below,
