The Government of Maldives represented by the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MECCT) has received funding from the Italian Government through the Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea towards the implementation of “Ocean Energy Resoruces Assesment for Maldives” and intends to apply part of the proceeds for “National consultancy service to support collection of marine current data”. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this consultancy.

Bid Clarification

Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to  below given mail address on or before 14^th May 2023, at 12:00 hours. Answers will be provided to all the queries received before the deadline and will be made available via the Ministry website (www.environment.gov.mv) on 15^th May 2023.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, before 10:00 AM Maldivian Time on 17^th May 2023. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 10:05AM on 17^th May 2023 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.

Proposals must be sealed and addressed as below

“Do not Open Before 17^th May at 10:05hrs – “National consultancy service to support collection of marine current data – (IUL)438-CCD/438/2023/190” and the submitting party’s name and address
