Upgrading of Waste and Resource Management Center (WRMC) in Rinbudhoo, Dhaalu Atoll - 2nd Tender
The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MoECCT) has received financing from The World bank and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract under the contract for the project Upgrading of Waste and Resource Management Center (WRMC) in Rinbudhoo, Dhaalu Atoll under Maldives Clean Environment Project. The Ministry re-invites sealed Quatation from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.
Tender document and BOQ will be uploaded to the national gazette with the invtations. However A complete set of bidding documents (Technical Specification, BOQ, Drawings, Safeguard documents, Tender document) shall be available to download in electronic format from the below Ondedrive link:

Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” World Bank Procurement Regulations for Borrowers under Investment Project Financing, dated July 1, 2016, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
The bidder shall be a Registered in National Contractors Registry. However A complete set of bidding documents (Technical Specification, BOQ, Drawings, Safeguard documents, Tender document) shall be available to download in electronic format from the below Ondedrive link:
Pre-bid Meeting
A pre-bid meeting will be held in NCIT building on February 23, 2023. Those Parties like to attened the pre-bid meeting virtually, using an online platform on 1100 Hours Maldivian time on April 30, 2023. Bidders may obtain further information by writing to the address below on or before 1100 Hours Maldivian time on April 29, 2023.
Bid Validity and Bid Opening
Bids shall be valid for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the NCIT building, Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, before 11:00 AM (Maldivian Time ) on 04th May 2023. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted and Late bids shall be rejected.
The bids will be opened at 11:00AM on 04th May 2023 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
