Provision of Water Supply, Sanitation and Solid Waste Management Project

The Government of the Republic of Maldives through the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MNPHI) is implementing the “Solid Waste Management System in Zone 1 under the project for the “Provision of Water Supply, Sanitation and Solid Waste Management Project” financed by OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) and intends to procure the services of a consultancy firm to develop the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)/ Environmental Management Plan (EMP) report for 20 (twenty islands) for the Establishment of Island Resource Recovery Centres (IRRC’s) in Zone 1, administered by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MNPHI).

The Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MNPHI) now invites eligible consultancy firms to submit proposals according to the TOR. The detail terms of reference for the consultancy is available to download from the ministry’s website (www.planning.gov.mv). It is also attached with this advertisement.

Bid Registration

Interested Bidders shall email the following address not later than 1400 hours on 8^th March 2023 to register with the Ministry of National Planning, Housing. The email subject should include the advertisement reference number and project name. This tender is only open for registered parties.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, on or before 14:00 hours on 9^th March 2023. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 14:00 hours on 9^th March 2023 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
