MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

• Certified Automobile Electrician qualification with a minimum 4 year’s work experience in Automobile (Or)
• Minimum 6 years’ experience as an Auto Electrician for all types of Equipment and Vehicle

OVERALL SCOPE
Repairs and overhauls electrical systems in automotive vehicles, such as car, buses, and truck and equipment. Install, maintain, identify faults, and repair electrical wiring and computer-based equipment in vehicles and equipment

SCOPE OF WORK

• Assess the electrical system of a vehicle using diagnostic testing equipment.
• Determine malfunction of electrical system by visual inspection of vehicle / equipment.
• Propose best course of action on identified issues/faults in the electrical systems.
• Repair or replace defective wiring in ignition, lighting, air‐conditioning, and safety control systems, can fill‐up, control and update the maintenance records on daily basis.
• Install electrical equipment such as gauges, lighting, alternators, and starter motors in cars, and install electrically operated accessories.
• Measure and adjust ignition timing and distributor breaker‐point gaps.
• Test, recondition, and replace faulty alternators, generators, starter motors, and related items such as voltage regulators and batteries, and repair or replace faulty ignition systems, electrical wiring, fuses, lamps, and switches.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

• Ability to test instruments and read circuit diagrams to find electrical faults, adjust engine control systems and timing to make sure vehicles are running at peak performance.
• Good in rewinding motors and electronic wirings.
• Ability to work long hours along with team members and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills.

SALARY PACKAGE
Gross Salary between MVR 12,500.00 to 17,000.00 based on qualification and experience.
