MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

• Masters in Project Management or relevant field with minimum 2 years of relevant experience (OR)
• Degree in Project Management or relevant field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

OVERALL SCOPE
Plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and budgets. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and contractors/consultants to deliver projects according to the plan, define the project's objectives, and oversee quality control throughout the project.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor/track progress and performance and for the successful implementation of Housing and Infrastructure Development projects.
• Manage the monitoring and supervision of the projects undertaken by the Corporation to control the quality of ongoing projects.
• Ensure inspection and monitoring of all the assigned projects are conducted on a regular base.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments.
• Approve construction materials required for the projects.
• Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information and provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Reviews and interpretation of architectural and structural drawings and specifications for appropriateness, and required functionality, and initiates revisions where appropriate.
• Coordinate with relevant personnel to assess construction claims and variations against HDC’s projects and to mitigate or avoid claims/ variations under the guidance of HoD.
• Ensure documentation and all the records of the section is maintained in an easily retrievable manner.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

• Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Strong familiarity with project management software and technical know-how of projects.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to read the communication styles of team members/contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Should be well-organized, detail-oriented, forward-thinking and proactive.
• Able to identify and delegate tasks to the right personnel of the department.

SALARY PACKAGE
Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
