Invitation for Bids

The Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) invites sealed bids from registered eligible Bidders for the Marine Station Refurbishment and Construction at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA).

Interested parties shall register in the bidding by a letter of interest by post, fax or email ([email protected]) on or before 24^th November 2014, Monday, 1030hrs. Tender Document will be emailed upon registration.

A compulsory Pre-Bid Meeting and site visit will be held on 27^th November 2014, Thursday, 1030hrs for registered parties who wish to proceed further.

Any clarifications shall be submitted by e-mail or fax before 30^th November 2014, Sunday, 1030hrsand answers to the clarifications will be circulated by fax or e-mail to all the registered parties.

Sealed bids in compliance with the details and requirements stated in the Tender document shall be submitted in two separate envelopes, one containing the Technical offer and the other containing the Commercial offer. Both envelopes must be sealed and marked and placed within a single envelope. An original and one copy shall be submitted marked with the bidders full name and address, the invitation for bid (IFB) number and titled“Marine Station Refurbishment and Construction: Do not open before 7^th December 2014, Sunday, 1030hrs” and must be delivered to the address below on or before 7^th December 2014, Sunday, 1030hrs. Late bids will be rejected.

The Offers from each Bidder will be opened at sharp 7^th December 2014, Sunday, 1030hrs in MACL Corporate Office Building at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) in the presence of Bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.

A Technical Evaluation followed by a Financial Evaluation of the bids will be performed after which the Tender Evaluation Committee will deliberate and finalize the award.
