1. The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from the International Development Association – The World Bank towards the implementation of Maldives Clean Environment Project (implemented by the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for Supply and delivery of Island Waste management Equipment for Islands of Zone 2.

2. The Ministry of Finance on behalf of Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (the Employer), wishes to bring the following changes to the Invitation for Bids reference number (IUL)13-K/13/2022/261 (23^rd October 2022) and re- invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply and delivery of Island Waste management Equipment for Islands of Zone 2.

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” of July 2016, Revised November 2017 - (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa Five Hundred), for the project from 24^th August 2022 to 25^th October 2022 by: (a) payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa Five Hundred), through our online payment portal - Ban'deyri Pay (https://bandeyripay.finance.gov.mv/)  and, (b) e-mailing the following information  to the below given e-mail addresses:

• Name and Address of the Bidder
• Name, e-mail ID and telephone numbers of the Contact Person(s)
• Copy of the Payment/Transaction Receipt.

5. A complete set of bidding documents and any information that shall be delivered to the prospective bidders, will be available for download from the Ministry of Finance website www.finance.gov.mv from 24^th August 2022

6. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of USD 3,375.00(Three Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy Five United Sates Dollars - or equivalent in Maldivian Rufiyaa) for the project. The Bid security shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening.  

7. Any Clarifications to the project may be sent to the address below on or before 1400hrs, 15^th September 2022

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below, on or before 13:00 hrs of Thursday, 27^th October, 2022.Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives Bids must be Sealed. Bids should be properly labeled with the Project Name, Bid opening date & time and name of the bidder.
