Minimum Qualification & Experience

GCE O’ Level with a pass in 2 subjects

Able to Read and Write in English

Pass the physical Fitness Test (IPPT & PAT­)

Pass the medical Exam

Successful completion of Firefighter Basic course

Responsibilities

1. Attend to aircraft domestic incidents and accidents and perform rescue and firefighting operations duties
2. Attend to all fire emergencies
3. Perform special services. Wash down fuel spillage, fir escort, hot work standby, fueling standby, hazardous cargo standby, etc. (Ref SOP)
4. Participate in the drill. Lectures, fire exercise, and physical training
5. Perform cleaning and upkeep of fire station and fire equipment
6. Inspect, test, and report on fire safety equipment under ARFF
7. Check all available items and equipment carried on ARFF fire vehicles/vessels and ascertain their serviceability
8. Perform watch room duty
9. Maintain a state of alertness
10. Be familiar with and follow ARFF standard operating procedures
11. Shall be medically and physically fits as per ARFF medical/physical requirement (Refer SOP)

Salary Package

MVR 8,000
