Job Description

Maldives Airports Company Limited is seeking to recruit talented and qualified individual to the position of Senior Officer, Security Assurance & Promotion at our Safety & Security Compliance Department. The successful candidate will be accountable to conduct security quality control activities to check compliance of MACL security aspects of the operation with regard to International and National requirements in wider scope for continuity of operations at Velana International Airport (VIA).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing Security Policy based on legal, national and company requirements.
• Assist in Develop and Maintain Velana International Airport Security Programme (VIASP) to ensure compliance with the National Civil Aviation Security Plan (NCASP), National Civil Aviation Security Training Programme (NCASTP) and National Quality Control Programme. (NQCP).
• Obtain approval for the VIASP from the appropriate authority.
• Comment, advise and correct all aviation security related contents in the manuals and SOP’s throughout the company.
• Monitor Velana International Airport Contingency Plans (VIACP).
• Assist to develop security circulars and bulletins to implement and educate on aviation security requirements.
• Monitor and ensure validity of regulatory documentary approvals as required.
• Assist to recommend security features for incorporation in any plans for the modification of existing airport facilities and for new construction.
• Supervise the application of approved security measures and procedures to promote their effective implementation and maintenance of VIASP.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent graduate degree in Business Administration / Management, or in a related field. OR
• Diploma or equivalent certificate in Business Administration / Management, or in a related field, with 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Knowledge and experience in aviation. (Preferred)
