Job Description

Maldives Airports Company Limited is seeking to recruit talented and qualified individual to the position of Assistant Manager, Risk Management at our Safety & Security Compliance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible to monitor and ensure all undertakings of MACL comply to applicable laws, regulations and standards pertain to safety risk management in wider scope for continuity of operations at Velana International Airport (VIA).

Key Responsibilities

• Compile Safety Risk Assessment and manage the process.
• Develop and update the procedures.
• Assist and actively participate in implementing aviation Safety Management System (SMS).
• Monitor and ensure validity of regulatory approvals as required.
• Planning and implementing SMS procedures and standards in coordination with Departments/Sections.
• Monitor the effectives of safety reporting, safety data management and risk communication.
• Develop Hazard Risk Registers (HRR) and provide technical guidance to Departments/Sections to review, monitor and update the HRR.
• Carryout Safety Risk Assessment (SRA) for all major processes including infrastructure development, new processes, new projects and any major change management initiated.
• Identify risk mitigation measures and carryout follow-up on identified mitigation measures.
• Assess, evaluate and approve Safety Risk Assessments (SRA) and Work Method Statements (WMS) submitted by the Departments/Sections and external parties.

Qualification & Experience

• Master’s degree or equivalent postgraduate degree in Business Administration / Management or in a related field with 3 years’ experience after qualification, or
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Management or in a related field with 4 years’ experience after qualification.
• Knowledge and experience in data analysis and compiling the report / trend is an added advantage. (Preferred)
