Island Aviation Services Limited is wholly owned by the Government of Maldives and is the operator of the national airline of Maldives – Maldivian. IASL provides International and Domestic Airline related services and Airport Management Services.

Job Description

 

  • The Company Secretary plays a key role in the application of corporate governance in the Company.
  • The company Secretary is the focal point of contact with the Company for institutional and other shareholders.
  • The company Secretary should ensure that the Company complies with its constitution and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, codes of conduct and rules established by the board.

Requirements

 

  • Attainment of Bachelor’s degree in law/business or finance or corporate governance related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience of which 3 years of experience in management.
  • The candidate should have strong secretarial abilities, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Should have high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have completed CMDA course on company secretary and who has worked in a management role of an SOE.
