TERMS OF REFERENCE

(IUL. No: 123-A/IUL/2022/30 )

  1. 1.       Scope of Work

Consultant shall carry out the following tasks during this consultancy period. Nevertheless, any additional task deemed necessary to achieve the objective would also be considered part of this consultancy.

  • Actively engage in the design and development of software to provide quality, high performance, user-centered, and data-rich applications.
  • Develop enhancements to existing software as well as design and develop new software.
  • Collaborate in a team environment to share best practices, implement process improvements, and ensure software quality.
  • Analyze and identify need areas for the digitalization of the work of the ACC
  • Solve problems and innovate solutions on a daily basis.
  • Deliver developed and tested software applications within the given deadlines.

 

  1. 2.       Qualifications and experience
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Programming, Information Technology, Web and Application Development.
  • Minimum 3 Years of experience in web application development using .NET or PHP (Laravel) with either MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, Oracle. OR

Minimum 03 years of experience in software development in C Sharp, MSSQL, ASP.NET, MVC WEB Application or PHP (Laravel) with either MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB.

 

  1. 3.       Desired skills and work experience

ü  Strong programming background with knowledge in modular based programming and use of emerging trends

ü  Experience in administering production level database with proficient understanding of SQL

ü  Good knowledge of mobile application development

ü  Experience and in-depth knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Webserver administration, other relevant opensource web development tools.

ü  Experience in modern UI frameworks like React, Agular or VueJS

 

 

  1. 4.       Duration of the contract

This is a 02 (TWO) years contract (Anti-Corruption Commission may extend the duration of the contract if required).

 

  1. 5.       Remuneration

Successful candidate will be paid between MVR 25,000.00 – MVR 30,000 per month.

 

  1. 6.       Working Hours

From 0800 hrs to 1500 hrs on weekdays

 

  1. 7.       Selection Criteria

Candidate will be shortlisted as per the following criteria:

  • Specific experience (20 points)
  • Academic Qualifications (10 points)
  • General work experience (40 points)
  • Software development technical experience (30 points)

 

  1. 8.       Interview

Only shortlisted candidates will be called up for interview. The potential candidate for this project will be finalized after the interview.

 

  1. 9.       Required Documents
  • A letter Expression of Interest
  • A detailed Curriculum Vitae
  • A copy of the National Identification Card
  • Copy of all educational qualifications and experiences (must be backed by authentic documentation).
