The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MoECCT) has received financing from the Global Environment Facility (GEF), through UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the project “Preparation of Maldives Third National Communication to the UNFCCC “.

With reference to the Annoucement No: (IUL)438-CCD/438/2022/73 dated 14^th March 2022, no interetested party has submitted their Expression of Interest for the Consultancy. Hence, the Ministry would like to re-advertise for Consultancy for Fisheries Sector to be reported under the Third National Communication (TNC) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology’s website www.environment.gov.mv  for downloading. It is also attached with this advertisement.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, before 1000 hours Maldivian Time on 18^th April 2022. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 1000 hours on 18^th April 2022 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
