Supply, Delivery and Installation of Hatchery and Nursery Tanks at K.Maniyafushi

1.     The Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sustainable Fisheries Resource Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Hatchery and Nursery Tanks at K.Maniyafushi.

2.      The Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Hatchery and Nursery Tanks at K.Maniyafushi.

3.      Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” of July 2016, Revised November 2017 and August 2018 - (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

5.      Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 13:00 hours of April 12, 2022. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on April 12, 2022 at 13:00 hours.

6.      All Bids must be accompanied by a by a Bid Securityof of MVR 30,000 or US$ 2000.00 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

7.      Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
