The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MoECCT) has received financing from the Global Environment Facility (GEF), through UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the project “ Preparation of Maldives Third National Communication to the UNFCCC “.

With reference to the Annoucement No: (IUL)438-CCD/438/2022/38 dated 20^th February 2022, no interetested party has submitted their Expression of Interest for the Consultancy. Hence, the Ministry would like to re-advertise for the Consultancy for Compilation of Maldives Greenhouse Gas Inventory to be reported under the Third National Communication (TNC) to the UNFCCC.

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology’s website www.environment.gov.mv  for downloading. It is also attached with this advertisement.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, before 11:00 AM Maldivian Time on 15^th March 2022. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 11:00AM on 15^th March 2022 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
