Assignment Title: Preparation of the Environment Assessment for Mariculture Grow-out Locations in Adh Atoll.

 The Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture, Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Sustainable Fisheries Resources Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments proceeds to Preparation of the Environment Assessment for Mariculture Grow-out Locations in Adh Atoll.

 With reference to the Announcement No. (IUL)30-PMU1/30/2022/38 dated 10th January 2022, only one party has submitted their Expression of Interest for the Consultancy. Hence, the Ministry would like to re-advertise for the Consultancy for Preparation of the Environment Assessment for Mariculture Grow-out Locations in Adh Atoll. 

The Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture now invites eligible Firms to submit their “Expression of Interest” (EOI), Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal. Interested Firms should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services along with the following documents:

• Letter of Expression of Interest.
• Technical Proposal demonstrating Past Performance, Capabilities and Experience, highlight specific experience as a firm and the proposed key experts. All the required supporting documents must be provided as specified in the TOR.
• Financial Proposal

The TOR for the consulting services is attached with this REOI.

The attention of interested consulting firms are drawn to paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, 3.17 and 3.18 of the World Bank Procurement Regulations for Borrowers under Investment Project Financing, dated July 1, 2016, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the Consultant’s Qualification-Based Selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations for Borrowers under Investment Project Financing, dated July 1, 2016.

Any requests for clarifications should be submitted to the address by email latest by 11:00 hrs Maldivian time on Wednesday, March 02, 2022.

Expressions of interest along with the technical proposal must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person) no later than 1300 hrs Maldivian time on Thursday, March 03, 2022.
