Civil works of Regional Laboratory in HDh.Hanimaadhoo                

Previous announcement, Ref No: (IUL)438-GCF/438/2021/311 dated 24^th October 2021, we would like to cancel the previous announcement and re-invite interested eligible consultants to submit their Proposals

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology has received financing from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for the project to Support vulnerable communities in Maldives to manage climate change-induced water shortages, and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the project “[Civil works of Regional Laboratory in HDh.Hanimaadhoo]”. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

The bidder shall be a listed member of the National Contractors Registry.   

National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with the Public Finance Regulation of Maldives, Single Stage Dual envelope bidding procedure under NCB. Qualifications requirements are stated in the Bidding Document.

Interested bidders shall register with the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology via the application from available at Ministry website www.environment.gov.mv and shall e-mail to the e-mail address [email protected] not later than 1200 hours on 22 November 2021.

A complete set of bidding documents and related documentation is available on  Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology websitewww.environment.gov.mv for downloading free of cost. The Employer shall not be liable for any information not received by the Bidder. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this Bid.

The Bidder shall furnish a Bid security of MVR 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Maldivian Rufiyyaa or equivalent in USD) for the project. The Bid security shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening.

Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology at the address specified in Clause 09 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 0900 hrs Maldivian Time on 30^th November 2021, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
