REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

(Project Number: TES/2021/C-009)  

1. Ministry of Finance, on behalf of Ministry of Health invites interested proponents to indicate their interest in providing Developing Human Resource for Primary Health Care Service Provision.  

2. The objectives of the project include:

a)     To carry out training needs assessments; and based on the assessment strengthen primary healthcare on islands in the Maldives to meet the current health needs of the population through capacity building for doctors, community health workers and nurses

b)     To introduce a postgraduate educational and training program for postgraduate doctors

3. Interested proponents must provide specific information which demonstrates that they are fully qualified to perform the services (background of the proponent’s technical expertise, description of any similar assignments undertaken, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, value of those services etc.)

4. The Employer will prepare a short list of proponents based on the Expression of Interest (EOI)’s and detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released to the shortlisted parties.

5. A more detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the project will be available on the Ministry’s website www.finance.gov.mv  from 4^th November, 2021. Interested proponents may obtain further information by writing to the address below. It is the bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this Project.

6. Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by e-mail) by 1400 hours Maldivian time on November 23^rd, 2021.
