INVITATION FOR BIDS

Consultancy Services to Develop and Implement a Water Awareness, Sensitization and Capacity Building Programme (WASCB) in the islands

Previous announcement, Ref No: (IUL)438-GCF/438/2021/272 dated 29^th September 2021, we would like to cancel the previous announcement and re-invite interested eligible consultants to submit their Proposals.

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MECT) has received financing from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for the project to Support vulnerable communities in Maldives to manage climate change-induced water shortages, and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the project “[Consultancy Services to Develop and Implement a Water Awareness, Sensitization and Capacity Building Programme (WASCB) in the islands] “. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading free of cost. The Employer shall not be liable for any information not received by the Bidder. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this bid.

Bid Registrationand Pre-bid Meeting

Interested Bidders shall register with the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology via the application form available at Ministry website www.environment.gov.mv and shall mail to the email address [email protected] not later than 1200 hours on 31 October 2021. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 28^th October 2021 10:00hrs at the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology 

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and hall be delivered to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology at the address given below, on or before 1000 Maldivian Time on 04 November 2021 at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
