INTRODUCTION 

Agro National Cooperation (AgroNat) intends to procure the services of a consultancy firm/individual to develop an Assessment Report of HA.Mulidhoo.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The assignment includes the preparation of Environment Assessment and Physical structural assessment report of HA.Mulidhoo and its surrounding.

The consultancy firm/individual shall furnish the report after visit to the island and discussion with AgroNat.

The tasks to be undertaken by the consultancy firm/individual under this TOR are to be managed by Agro National Cooperation:

• Undertake field observations and necessary stakeholder consultations and develop the Assessment Report as per the TOR provided in Annex 1.
• Submit the draft report to AgroNat.
• Prepare the final report by considering the comments given by AgroNat. 
• Submit the final report to AgroNat.

ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATION

To be eligible for this assignment,

1. The consultancy firm/Individual should submit full CV highlighting the criteria given below:

a) The lead consultant should have a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Environmental Management/Environmental Engineering or related field with minimum 05 years’ experience in the field of environment and 02 years’ task specific experience in preparing such reports. Postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.

b) The team shell also has members with post graduate degree/ bachelor’s degree in surveying, mapping, or other relevant field with minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience working in these fields.

c) Demonstrate experience in performing the services (description of similar assignments, value of such assignments).

        2. The duration proposed by the consultancy firm/individual should not exceed the requirement.

        3. The leader or at least one of the team members should be an EPA registered EIA consultant with an unexpired registration certificate.

        4. Price quoted should be inclusive of all travel and related charges.

DELIVERABLES

• Draft Report: The draft Assessment report shall be submitted to AgroNat no later than 14 calendar days after the commencement of the assignment in accordance with the TOR provided in Annex 1 and in the general format.
• Final Report: The consultancy firm/individual shall produce the final Assessment Report by considering the comments made, if any, by AgroNat. The final Assessment Report shall be submitted to AgroNat, no later than 30 calendar days after the commencement of the assignment. The report should include Map (arial drone and scale drawings) of the island – existing features and area, vegetation line, high tide line, low tide line, reef line etc.

STANDARD OF REPORT 

The Assessment report must address all the areas mentioned in the TOR and must be submitted with scaled maps, photographs, and a drone footage of the island.

DURATION

a) The duration of the entire assignment is 30 calendar days

BID VALIDITY AND BID OPENING

Bids shall be submitted to the Agro national corporation head office at the address given below before 2:00 PM on Tuesday, 28^th September 2021. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, 28^th September 2021 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
