INVITATION FOR BIDS

Design and Build of brine effluent monitoring station in B.Dharavandhoo

As there was not adequate level of responsiveness by the deadline in the previous announcement, Ref No: (IUL)438-GCF/438/2021/188  dated 20^th June 2021, we would like to cancel the previous announcement and re-invite interested eligibleContractors to submit their Proposal

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Environment (MoEnv) has received financing from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for the project to Support vulnerable communities in Maldives to manage climate change-induced water shortages, and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the project “[Design and Build of brine effluent monitoring station in B.Dharavandhoo] “. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading free of cost. The Employer shall not be liable for any information not received by the Bidder. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this bid.

Bid Registration

Interested Bidders shall register with the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology via the application form available at Ministry website www.environment.gov.mv and shall mail to the email address [email protected] not later than 1200 hours on 20^th July 2021.

Bid Security

The Bidder shall furnish a bid security which shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening and in the amount of Maldivian Rufiyaa 16,000.00

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and hall be delivered to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology at the address given below, on or before 1100 Maldivian Time on 04^th August 2021 at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders. Late bids will be rejected.
