Project Assistant (individual) for “Integrated, Sustainable and Low Emissions Transport in the Maldives”

The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology has received funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) towards implementing the project “Integrated, Sustainable and Low Emissions Transport in the Maldives”,and intends to apply part of the proceeds to recruit a Project Assistant who will be part of the project management team which is responsible for the implementation of project activities and supervision over project staff, consultants and subcontractors. 

The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology invites interested eligible individual consultants to submit their application via E-mail.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the position, the individual is expected to demonstrate the requirements as per the attached “Terms of Reference”.

Schedule for the Assignment

Duration of the assignment is 3 years for the commencement of the works with potential extension based on performance and need. The successful candidate is expected to commence the services in June 2021.

Remuneration

Successful individual will be paid an all-inclusive monthly fee of MVR 17,550.

The expressions of interest must be submitted to the address below (via E-mail) no later than 1200 hours on 20^th June 2021.  Submissions must state the job title, address in this advertisement, and the submission deadline of the advertisement. Documents to be submitted:

-              Curriculum vitae (clearly stating the starting and ending month for previous experiences)

-              Copy of national ID card

-              Copies of higher degree academic certificates and/or transcripts

-              Letters of experience

-              Candidates currently working in the Civil Service should provide a letter of no objection from their current employer.
