ANNOUNCEMENT
The following amendment is made to the Bidding Document for the Lease, Development, Operation and Management of Tourist Resorts pursuant to the Invitation for Bids (IFB) number (IUL)88-PS/88/2021/36 dated 14th April 2021 and Instruction to Bidders (ITB).
The Lease Acquisition Cost (LAC) (Detailed under Clause 5 of the IFB & Clause 3.5 of the ITB in the Bidding Document) of the proposed islands are to be revised as follows, to boost investor interest and confidence, considering the current investment climate.
Clause 5 of the IFB & Clause 3.5 of the ITB states:
“The Bidder is required to propose an amount of no less than below specified amounts which shall be paid to the Government as the lease acquisition cost (hereinafter referred to as the “LAC”) of the Islands, to be paid, on or before 60 (Sixty) days from date of the Letter of Award for the acquisition of the leasehold rights of the islands (hereinafter referred to as the “LOA”).”
