ASSISTANT PASSENGER CARGO OFFICER

Requirement / Qualifications:

• Completed O’Level with minimum 3 passes including English & Dhivehi.
• Work experience in an airport or airline ticketing or related field.

Key responsibilities: 

• Welcome and Greet passengers as they arrive at the terminal counter and on arrival at the airport.
• Ask for passengers’ tickets and verify information by asking pertinent questions and Compare information on tickets with passenger data
  Deal with passenger enquiries, such as queries on departure times and changes to flights.
• Allocate seats to passengers and inform passengers on seating arrangements.
• Inspect and Weigh passengers' luggage, check it in and make any excess charges if necessary.
• Print out luggage labels and attach them to the luggage.
• Issue boarding cards.
• Make sure that passengers have no sharp or dangerous objects.
• Direct passengers to the boarding gate.
• Inform passengers of any changes to flight information.
• Handle cargo and prepare documents related to import & export cargo.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a similar field and/or completed a customer service-related Training.
• Pleasant, energetic personality be self-motivated and willing to undertake responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Physically fit & able to work long hours in a busy environment on 24hr rotating shifts including Night.
• Preferable Age 18 – 30 years
