Request for Expressions of Interest

 

The Government of Maldives (GoM) is implementing the “Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY)” Project. The project is funded by the World Bank. The objective of the project is to improve the relevance of technical and vocational skills and foster entrepreneurship to promote youth employment in priority sectors. The project is being administered by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), with a Project Steering Committee that will be co-chaired by the MoHE and the Ministry of Economic Development.

 

Advertisement published on 20th January 2021, Ref (IUL) 475/475/2021/25 has been cancelled since sufficient applicants were not shortlisted and new invitation for EOI is open for interested individuals.

 

As part of this project MoHE seeks an Individual for the position of PROJECT MANAGER to work in the implementation of the project. Expressions of Interest need to be submitted by E-mail to [email protected] before 01:00 PM, 21st February 2021 (Sunday).

Remuneration:  MVR 34,740.00/-

Selection of Consultant

Consultant will be selected based on EOI submitted and after interview process. Please note that the candidate selected for the post will be required to provide the attested copies of the documents included application.

 

Note: Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the ‘World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers’ Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018 introduced by the Bank under the Procurement Framework (hereafter referred to as the “Regulations”).
