 Main Responsibilities

  Must be capable of designing and providing consultancy on Centralized LPG pipeline system.

 Must be able to prepare BOM of CGS as per the given standard.

 Prepare design concept Centralized Gas system as per standard

 Skilled in software’s such as Auto CAD required the preparation of pipeline drawings and concept designing.

 Must have Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering of a LPG Storage tank.

 Educational Qualification

  Certified Professional Designer / Engineer of Centralized Gas System with at least 5 years experience in the LPG Pipeline industry

 OR

 Licensed Gas Service worker with at least 5 years experience in the LPG Pipeline industry

 Skills

  Applicant must be familiar with one of the followings standards. Preference will be given to those who are proficient in the following standards.

-       1 -ISO - International Standardization Organization

-       2 - BS - British Standards

-       3 - (IGEM - Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers 

-       4 - ASME Sec VIII div 2 : ASME Boiler and Pressure code (BPVC) Section VIII Division 1 is focused on a design – by rule approach and Division 2 on design – by analysis approach   

-       5 - EEMUA PUB NO 154 : Demolition of vertical cylindrical steel storage tanks and LPG spheres

-       6 - API PUBL 2510A : Fire-Protection Considerations for the Design and Operation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Storage Facilities

-       7 - API Standard 2510, 9th Edition, Design and Construction of LPG Installations covers the design, construction, and location of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) storage installations and handling facilities.

-       8 - PD 5500: Specification for unfired, fusion welded pressure vessels" is a code of practice that provides rules for the design, fabrication, and inspection of pressure vessels

-       9 - EN 13445:  was introduced in 2002 as a replacement for national pressure vessel design and construction codes and standards in the European Union and is harmonized with the Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU or "PED")

-       10 - NFPA (National Fire Protection Association):  Fire Code, advances fire and life safety for the public and first responders as well as property protection by providing a comprehensive, integrated approach to fire code regulation and hazard management.

-      11 - ASME:  (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) promotes the art, science & practice of multidisciplinary engineering around the globe

-       12 - ASTM: Designed to enhance safety and improve the quality of consumer and industrial products
