Letter of Invitation to Tender

Invitation of Tender No: HDC (161)-PRO/IU/2021/36

1. Housing Development Corporation Limitedinvites sealed tenders from eligible bidders for “Consultancy Service for Reclamation Design and Environmental Impact Assessment for Thilafushi, Maldives” (hereinafter called the “Works” or “Project”) as per the scope given by the Employer.
2. Only local (Maldivian) party can submit proposal for this project. In case of a JV the lead partner should be Maldivian.
3. The company should be registered as a vendor at HDC prior to bid submission. The Vendor Registration form will be available at HDC’s website link: https://hdc.com.mv/downloads/
4. A complete set of the tender documents may be obtained by the interested Tenderers from HDC’s website link: https://hdc.com.mv/announcements/bids/
5. Tenders must be submitted to the office mentioned below in Clause 7, not later than 13:00hrs on 9th February 2021 accompanied by a tender security, in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderers, in the amount of MVR 50,000.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa Fifty Thousand Only). 
6. Tenders will be opened in a session to be held at the office mentioned below in Clause 7, and in the presence of representatives of tenderers who wish to attend. This session will take place at time and date tabulated in Clause 7 of this section or such other time and date as may be notified to the tenderers.
