The Ministry of Environment (MoEnv) is advertising, for the fourth time, for interested bidders to submit bids for this project. The Government of the Republic of Maldives through the Ministry of Environment is implementing “Go Green” financed by the New Zealand government and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the selection of an establishment for replacing and/or retrofitting HCFCs and HFC equipment with R 290/R600a/HC blend or low GWP alternative. This project intends to completely phase-out HCFCs and HFC in an establishment by replacing the HCFC and HFC charged air-conditioners and refrigeration systems by replacing and/or retrofitting with R290/R600/HC blend or low GWP alternative. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

Bid Security

The bidder shall furnish a bid security of MVR 6365 (Six Thousand Three Hundred and Sixty Five) for the project. The bid security shall be valid for 90 days from the date of the bid opening. It should be noted that the bid security should be issued from a bank or institution that is recognized by the Government.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Ministry of Environment at the address given below, before 11:00 AM Maldivian Time on 20th October 2020. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 11:00AM on 20^th October 2020 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
