Call for Applications: Accelerated Route to Membership

Accelerated Route to Membership

Maldives International Arbitration Centre in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators is offering the opportunity to take part in the Accelerated Route to Membership Assessment.

Date: 16th – 17th March 2020.

Applications will be reviewed by MIAC and CIArb and successful applicants will be finally determined by CIArb.

The venue for the assessment is the Maldives International Arbitration Centre.

 

Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and experience with international arbitration and as a minimum should meet the following requirements:

  • Successfully completed the Introduction to International Arbitration Course by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators; OR
  • Have been involved in an international arbitration as counsel or local counsel.

Documents to be submitted
  1. A copy of the applicant’s CV
  2. Personal Statement explaining why you are interested in the Course and how you would apply the knowledge acquired from the course.
  3. A copy of the applicant’s National Identity Card
  4. Attested copy of academic certificates

 

(All documents submitted should be in English)

Deadline for submission

12:00 pm on Wednesday, 11th March 2020.
