Call for Applications: Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration Course March 2020 (APAC)

 

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) is holding a 9-day residential Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration which will be taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the Directorship of Francis Xavier FCIArb C. Arb SC PB, President of CIArb 2020.

The Diploma is a leading membership course of CIArb and upon successful completion, candidates will be eligible to apply for Fellowship of CIArb.

Maldives International Arbitration Centre in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators is offering the opportunity for one candidate from the Maldives to take part in the Diploma Course.

The successful applicant will receive a subsidy for the course fee which will be paid by MIAC. The candidate will be expected to pay 35% of the course fee and bear travel and accommodation costs.

Applications will be reviewed and the successful applicant will be determined solely by CIArb.

The course will take place from 28th March 2020 to 5th April 2020.

Eligibility

Candidates should have prior experience in international arbitration.

  1. A copy of the applicant’s CV
  2. Personal Statement which should explain why you are interested in the Course and the expected outcome from the Course
  3. A copy of the applicant’s National Identity Card
  4. Attested copy of the academic certificates
