Remuneration details

• Basic Salary range: MVR 8000.00
• Fixed Allowance range: MVR 3000.00 – 4000.00
• Overtime and extra working days allowance
• Professional Allowance: 40 % of basic salary (After probation)

Department

Responsibilities

• Evaluating the company’s current process at handling risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by the company such as costs and legal requirements
• Establish a comprehensive risk management culture through awareness of campaigns to influence behavior and drive the importance of compliance
• Collate and manage implementation of risk mitigation plans in business unit/segment
• Benchmark current practices against the risk management framework and adjust practices as and when necessary
• Assure the risk reports are aligned as per the mandates of each department and safeguard the assets of the company ensuring adequate insurance policies, and the implementation and maintenance of internal policies and controls 

Education / Experience

• Degree in Finance related or CIMA, ACCA completed
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related field with minimum 2 years in a managerial post

Other Requirements

• Strong results orientation with track record of delivering performance improvement
• Knowledge of current accounting practices
• Deep understanding of credit risk, bonds and fixed income securities
• Previous experience of risk management factors associated with a property led lending portfolio
• Strong Risk, Legal and Regulatory professional 
• Report writing skills
