Maldives has been a party to the UNFCCC since 1992 and is one of the first countries to ratify the Kyoto Protocol in 1998. Being a party to the convention, every party has to submit their Biennial Update Report to the UNFCCC as per the guidelines set-out Dec. 1/CP. 16 par. 60 and Dec 2/CP. 17 par. 41 and its Annex III. Ministry of Environment is in the process of finalizing the first Biennial Update Report (BUR) of the Maldives. Maldives is currently in the process of finalizing this report and wishes to organise a high level launching event for this report on 06th February 2019 (Thursday).
The Ministry is seeking the services of an organization/business entity to arrange a conference hall with catering services for this purpose.
Interested consultants must provide following:
a) Technical proposal including the organizational profile, detailed menu for lunch, list of proposed venues and any other documents attesting to the scope of work
b) The Financial Proposal (showing breakdown of costs expected to incur to provide the service
c) Proof of similar works undertaken including letters of references
d) Company licenses, GST certificates and/or business registration in ministry of Economic Development

The Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the address below no later than 1000 hours on 7th January 2019. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope titled as below to the below address. The bids will be opened on 1000 hrs on 7th January 2019, in the presence of bidders who wish to attend.
