Request for Expressions of Interest

The Government of Maldives (GoM) is preparing to implement the “Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY)” Project. The project is funded by the World Bank. The objective of the project is to improve the relevance of technical and vocational skills and foster entrepreneurship to promote youth employment in priority sectors. The project is being administered by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), with a Project Steering Committee that will be co-chaired by the MoHE and the Ministry of Economic Development.

With regard to the Announcement No: (IUL) 475/475/2019/161, As no Individual was selected for the position of SENIOR SOCIAL SAFEGUARD OFFICER the Ministry of Higher Education re-invites interested candidates to apply for this position.

Expressions of Interest need to be submitted along with the CV, validated documents supporting the candidate’s qualifications and experience, validated reference letters, and the copy of ID card/Passport before 10:00 am, 24th November 2019.

Terms of Reference and Duration of Service

Interested parties may download the terms of reference which outline the scope of service, the key qualifications, experience and terms of payment relevant to this position from the gazette. The service is for a period of ONE year. Any renewal will be based on a performance evaluation of the individual selected.
