COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

1. Diploma or MNQF Level 5 qualification in relevant field OR
2. Advanced Certificate or MNQF Level 4 qualification in relevant field with 6 years’ relevant experience

OVERALL SCOPE

Carrying out community engagement activities, which include public awareness programs, community meetings and public gatherings and maintain a good relationship with public and stakeholders.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Organizing and carrying out variety of community engagement activities (eg. Developing interaction and feedback of citizens, developing relationships with citizens and communities, creating platforms for community engagement in development of Hulhumale’)
• Carrying out relevant community surveys in order to collect community leader’s/key personnel data when necessary
• Conducting public awareness programs
• Building and maintaining good relationships with organizations and key individuals as part of public engagement process (eg. Neighborhood associations, NGO’s, and public service institutions)
• Working closely with marketing and PR team to ensure that where appropriate community engagement processes are publicized

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

• Should possess pleasant personality and able to deal with different personnel effectively
• Should possess adequate public relation skills
• Should be an effectual communicator verbally as well as through writing skills
• Should be well organized, detail-oriented, forward thinking and proactive
• Should be familiar with Microsoft Office package
• Should be able to work as an individual and as a flexible team player

SALARY PACKAGE:

Gross Salary between 12,500.00 to 14,375.00 based on qualification and experience.
