Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced fulltime Engineer for the Water, Sewerage and Environment Department to ensure Quality Assurance of the water supply and sewerage systems under FENAKA Corporation Limited.

Job Responsibilities

• Reports to, and works under the supervision of the Head of Department.
• Organize and manage all administrative tasks related to water quality testing of water supply and sewerage systems.
• Familiarize with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines and standards for quality.
• Ensure all islands that operate water supply and sewerage systems perform the necessary water quality tests by complying with the guidelines set by and submit reports to EPA in a timely manner.
• Analyze the Water Quality Reports, and liaise with the technical team and the FENAKA Branch to rectify any issues identified in the RO plant and sewerage operations.
• Provide guidance to staff performing Quality Assurance-related tasks including sample collection and testing.
• Maintain an inventory of laboratory equipment and reagents available in FENAKA Branches.
• Plan, organize and establish Regional Quality Assurance Laboratories.

Experience and Training

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related scientific field.
