The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Greater Male Environmental Improvement and Waste Management Project: Phase 1, apply part of this financing to provide the service of Public Awareness and Community Capacity Building (PACCB) Consultant - FIRM. The Ministry of Finance wishes to extend the deadline of EOI Submission for the subjected project (Invitation Ref No. (IUL)13-K/13/2019/15) to March 4, 2019.

The main objective of this assignment is to enhance public awareness, Strengthen capacity of outer islands in community-based SWM and IWMCs operation and maintenance, Improve institutional and community awareness and capacity in DRR and Implement Gender Action Plan.

The Ministry of Finance now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide specific information which demonstrates that they are fully qualified to perform the services (background of the firm’s technical expertise, description of any similar assignments undertaken, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, value of those services, etc.).

The firm shall be selected based on the qualification and experience, in accordance with the procedures set out in the ADB Guidelines. A firm will be selected in accordance with the Quality-and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the Procurement Regulations for ADB Borrowers 2017.

Interested Consultancy Firms/ Institutions shall submit their EOI online at ADB Consultant Management System (CMS) - Consulting Services Recruitment Notices (CSRN) website (http://csrn.adb.org) in accordance with the instructions contained therein. All other form of submissions including hard copy will not be considered for evaluation. The project details and scope of work for this assignment is available in the EOI document. The deadline for the submission of EOIs is on March 4, 2019.
