Consultancy Services for the Supervision Works of Water Supply and Sewerage Projects under Labor Contract Model

1. The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by the Ministry of Environment (ME), intends to apply part of the proceeds from the Government PSIP Budget for the following services: Consultancy Services for the supervision works of water supply and sewerage projects under labor contract model. The Client intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract which this Request for Proposals is issued.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
2. The services include implementing Construction Supervision including review of designs, material approval, coordination of works, supervision of field surveys, identifying special studies, a quality control and quality assurance plan, a plan for project cost control, plan for project progress control, representing the ME/PMU and general reporting. Works commissioning include supervising the acceptance tests and preparing Completion certificate and temporary acceptance certificate, completion report, implement shop inspection of Electromechanical Equipment, prepare ‘As-Built Drawings’, prepare operation and maintenance manuals and capacity building.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
3. Ministry of Finance on behalf of Ministry of Environment now invites interested eligible consultants to submit their proposal according to the Request for Proposal (RFP). Interested parties must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Company profile, Organizational structure, brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate staffs, etc.). Parties may associate to enhance their qualifications.
4. Interested consultants shall be registered to submit the proposals upon submission of a written application to the address in clause 06 of this RFP between 0830hrs and 1330hrs Maldives on all working days from 10^th January 2019 till 28^th January 2019. . A complete set of RFP documents and any information that shall be delivered to the prospective bidders,  shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance website www.finance.gov.mv
5. Any clarifications to the proposal shall be send to the email address given below on or before 1300 hrs on 17^th January 2019.
6. The proposals are expected to be submitted to the address below by no later than 1000 hours local time on 29^th January 2019.
