General Description

Title:                                    Purchase of a 29,000 to 36,000 CBM Clean Petroleum Tanker

Eligibility:                             Should be a ship-owner or a ship-broker. If the tenderer is a ship-broker,

                                           the tenderer must have successfully completed the sale of three or more Vessel with 10,000 DWT or

                                           above and should submit written proof

Specifications: The following specific criteria must be met;  

• Vessel type: Vessel offered must be a dedicated Clean Petroleum Product (CPP) tanker
• Carrying capacity: 29,000 to 36,000 CBM 
• Type of cargo: MGO, ULG and JET A‐1
• Country of Built: Japan, South Korea & European Countries
• Age:  Should not be more than 14 years by the time of offer received
• Length Overall: Maximum 180 m
• Maximum draft: 9.5 m
• Dry Docking: Must not be due within 1 year from the date of offer
• Class: Vessel must be under an IACS member class 
• Insurance:  Hull and Machinery must be insured an valid at the time of purchase and must have valid protection and indemnity (P&I) cover from a member who is under International Group of P&I 
• Bunker storage: Vessel offered must be able to carry bunkers for minimum 32 days of steaming in fully laden condition.  
• Minimum service speed at full load: Minimum 12 KNOTS per hr
• Tank Coating: Stainless steel or fully epoxy coated suitable for CPP cargoes on total cubic capacity
• Cargo segregation; minimum 3 Grades of cargo segregation with double valve, Independent lines and venting system
• Loading rate: Combined loading rate to be 2000 cbm / hr or above
• Discharging rate: Discharging rate to be 1000 cbm / hr or above
• Crane: 1 Units Hose handling crane min. SWL 05 Tons
• Must have dedicated slop tank 
• No limitations on trading areas except ice regions and US waters

Bonus Specifications;

• Vessel having a shaft generator will be an advantage 
• Fuel efficiency will be an added advantage
• Main Engine: Preferred Brands: MAN B&W and Sulzer / Wartsila,

Tendering Process

Registration:                      Tenders can register by visiting our Head Office (during office hours) and via below email.

                                            Deadline for Registration is 2^nd March 2020, 1400hrs

Bid Documents:                  A complete set of Bidding Document in English shall be sent via e-mail on the  

                                            3^rd March 2020, only to the parties who have registered

Questions and Replies:      Questions shall be type-written in English and shall be submitted to the address specified below.

                                          Deadline for queries is 5^th March 2020, 0900hrs by e-mail.

                                          Replies to questions will be given on or before 8^th March 2020, 1600hrs.

Tender Opening:                  Bid Submission Deadline is 12^th March 2020, 1500hrs and a bid opening session will be held at

                                          STO Head Office for bidder who choose to attend and submit the original proposal.

                                          Submissions after deadline shall be rejected.
