    REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST    

  Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Associate - Local

 [RFP No: PSSP/2.1/C/14]

 

The Government of Maldives (GoM) has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Maldives Public Financial Management Systems Strengthening Project (PSSP) and part of the proceeds of this credit is being used to establish a Public Finance Modernization Unit within the Ministry of Finance (Mof).

The main responsibility of the BPC Associate is to provide technical assistance in the implementation of BPC module throughout agencies in GOM.

BPC Associate must meet the following qualification requirements:

        I.  Minimum first degree / professional certificate in a related field

        II. Minimum three (3) years of experience in using SAP

        III.  SAP academy training will be an added advantage

        IV. Two (2) years specific experience in configuring and developing BPC Module will be an added advantage.

The Ministry of Finance, now invites interested eligible individuals to submit their Expressions of Interest (EoI). Interested Candidates must provide (a) a CV including information that demonstrates that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills, etc.)

The individual will be selected based on the qualification and experience, in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD loans and IDA credits and grants by World Bank Borrowers, of July 2016, Revised November 2017 and August 2018.

Successful candidate will be paid an all-inclusive monthly fee by the project in the range of USD 1,692.00 to USD 1,945.00 equivalent in Maldivian Rufiyaa, depending on qualification and experience.

The services are required for a period of 2 years, which includes an initial probationary period of 3 months.
