Maldives Energy Authority (MEA) is currently working on developing an Energy Efficiency Labelling programme in the Maldives. The programme is expected to help consumers identify the most energy efficient appliances. The appliances selected for labelling for the initial phase of the programme are air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines.

In order to ensure the successful execution of the programme, we need the input of the importers and retailers of such electrical appliances. In August 2018, Maldives Energy Authority will be conducting a stakeholder consultation workshop for the importers and retailers of electrical appliances regarding the implementation procedures of the programme.

Therefore, if you wish to participate in the workshop, please submit the registration form before 1800 hrs on 15^th July 2018 (Sunday).
