Responsibilities

• Repairing and reconditioning of tanks, pipelines, valves, pumps and other equipment.
• Plan, supervise and participate in development of preventive maintenance strategies and schedules in a safe and environmentally friendly manner
• Supervise maintenance team and ensure repair works are carried out timely and safely in support of continuous terminal operation.
• Promote safe working environment and ensure adherence to work safety practices.
• Prepare and maintain accurate and up to date records of planned and completed jobs.
• Ensure team members are sufficiently trained for work assigned and identify training and development needs.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses till cases are closed.
• Participate in maintenance budgeting and cost control activities.
• Accountable for maintenance of bulk oil storage terminal.

Education Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or an engineering degree in related field

Other requirements

• 5-10 years’ experience working in bulk oil storage terminal preferred
• Should be computer literate, shall possess technical report writing skills, leadership, motivation
• Industry certificates will be added advantage
• Must be conversant with terminal and storage equipment for fuel farm
• Trained in basic firefighting and first aid
