Consultancy Services to undertake Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for the establishment of a Regional Waste Management System for Zone 6 and 7 (Construction and Operations)

The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received Credit from Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) and International Renewable Energy Association (IRENA) and the Government of the Republic of Maldives for the establishment of a Regional Waste Management System for Zone 6 and 7 and intends to procure the services of a consultancy (firm or individual(s)) to develop the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report for the establishment of a Regional Waste Management System for Zone 6 and 7 (Construction and Operations), administered by the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE).

The Government of Maldives, represented by Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE), now invites interested eligible parties to submit their proposals according to the Request for Proposals (RFP). Interested parties must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, availability of required tools and equipment, etc.). Parties may associate to enhance their qualifications.

The RFP document, for the consulting services will be available on the Ministry website www.environment.gov.mv. Also the RFP can be directly downloaded from this announcement.

Interested consultants may obtain further information on request by writing to the address below no later than 1400 hours on 18th December 2017.

The proposals are to be submitted to the address by 1300 hours local time on 24th December 2017, Sunday. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives. Electronic bidding is not permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
