Invitation for Expression of Interest:

To Design, build and Operate a Higher Education Institution with a High School

in a plot allocated in Male’ City

The Ministry of Education (MOE) of the Republic of Maldives decides to mobilize private sector participation for designing, building and operating a higher education institution along with a high school in a plot measuring 4000 square feet, through a transparent competitive bidding process. The plot of land is located in the capital city, Male’. The Project will be implemented through the award and execution of a design, build and operate, agreement between MOE, and the Winning Bidder. Hence, MOE invites all interested parties to submit their Expression of Interest to undertake this venture.

The interested parties are requested to submit their expression of interest on or before 1400hrs of 25^th July 2017 via email ([email protected]). The following documents must be submitted along with the Expression of Interest:

• Company Registration Certificate
• Company Profile
• Taxpayer Registration
• Submitting Brand’s Franchise License
• Contact Number and email ID
• Interested Concepts for Bidding

Only parties who have registered for expression of interest will receive the Bid Document and be eligible for submission of their Proposals.

Requirements to qualify for the Tender Evaluation Process

1. MOE intends to make the RFP available after 30^th July, to interested parties who sent in their Expression of Interest to MOE.
2. Applicant must be a registered Company.
3. Applicant must be a company / institution registered in Maldives currently operating a higher education institution / high school in Maldives.
4. Applicant must NOT have any pending, active, or previous legal action that prevents the Bidder from submitting the Bid, executing Agreement or fulfilling the conditions of the Agreement.
