WALK-IN AND SKYPE INTERVIEWS
The Ministry of Education is seeking teachers for secondary schools. Details are given below.

Air Ticket |
Arrival ticket reimbursed on completion of the probation period. Teachers completing the contract will be given a ticket home. Teachers whose contracts are renewed will be given a return ticket for the year-end vacation. |

3. Additional Notes:
a) Candidates are not liable to pay any form of payment for the recruitment process
b) Interviews will be held in Male’, Maldives for candidates who opt to travel to Male’. Candidates can opt for a Skype interview.
c) All expenses related to attending interviews will be borne by the applicant. The applicants who travel to Male’ will have to stay In Male’ for approximately 5 days.
d) Fluency in English Language, both oral and written is a must.
e) Preference will be given to candidates who can teacher both A level and O level subjects
f) Candidates will be tested on their knowledge of subjects
g) Interview results will be informed within 5 days after the interview.
h) All applicants who submit applications may not be selected for interview and such candidates will be informed via email.
i) Please carry the following documents when you report to the interview.
i. Originals of the Educational Qualifications Certificates (BA, BSC, MA, MSC, M PHIL, PHD) along with the mark sheets/transcripts.
ii. Passport.
iii. Application Form
j) Originals of all documents shown during the Skype interviews have to be carried by selected candidates on arrival. If any inconsistencies are noted, the employment will be terminated immediately.
k) Qualifications needed:
i. A Bachelor’s degree or a higher degree in Teaching (OR)
ii. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a specialized subject
l) Place of Employment: Any location in the Republic of Maldives. Travel to location of work will be arranged by the Ministry of Education.
m) Period of Employment: One Year (can be extended based on the performance).
n) Probationary period: 3 Months.
