Subject: Services provided by Airport Clinic & applicable charges
Airport Medical Center (AMC) of Velana International Airport is managed and operated by Azmi-Naeem Medical & Diagnostic Centre (AMDC) since June 2011.
AMC comprises a 24/7 operating Clinic and Pharmacy. First aid and first response medication will be provided free of charge by the Clinic in case of any mishap/emergency/casualty (i.e. a sudden illness or injury that needs care right away) occurring at the Airport.
Whether the situation of the patient is an emergency or not will be decided by the doctor, based on the symptoms and condition of the patient.
For all non-emergency situations & pre-booked appointments, a charge will be levied based on the services provided to the patient by the AMC.
The list of services provided by AMC and applicable charges are included in Annexure I of this circular.
