INVITATION FOR BIDS
Development of Logistics Building at Male’ Industrial Village
1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury (MOFT) on behalf of the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure (MHI),decides to extend the deadline of registration to submit bids for Design and Build of Pre-fabricated Logistics Buildings under Contractor Finance in the Male’ Industrial Village (Reference Number: (IUL) 13-K1/13/2016/227) to 1330 hours of January 26, 2017.
2. The Developer’s services shall consist of providing both Architectural and Engineering (A/E) design services and Construction services related to the development of an area of 20309 square meter Prefabricated warehouse and logistics buildings.
3. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500/- (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) to the Public Procurement Section, Ministry of Finance and Treasury, till January 26, 2017 between 0830hrs and 1330hrs on all working days. Bank details shall be available upon request. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv.
4. Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to below given mail addresses on or before January 9, 2017 at 1400 hours.
5. The Bidder shall furnish a Bid Security of USD 500,000 (or equivalent in MVR) which shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid. The Amount of Performance Security required under the contract shall be 5% of the Contract Price.
6. Bids Shall be Valid for a period of 180 days from the date of Bid of Opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified in the clause 7 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1300 hrs, Maldivian time on January 30, 2017, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
