REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Subject: Audit of the project accounts during the period 2016-2019

1. The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB), and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the contract for Audit of the Project Accounts.

2. The services include the annual audit of financial proceeds of the project for the period 2016-2019.

3. The Ministry of Environment and Energy now invites local audit firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested parties must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).

4. An audit firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the “Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing, May 2009”

5. Interested audit firms may obtain further information at the address below.

6. The expression of interests are expected to be submitted to the address below by (regular mail, email or fax), no later than 1100 hours local time on January 5, 2017 (Thursday).
